Elder Laine Carter in the California Ventura Mission

This has been a pretty good week. We have a guy who wants to get baptized and will have a date tomorrow night. We do have some sunshine but quite a bit of rain. Our adventure last p-day was so fun.  The waterfall we saw last p-day First off yesterday I gave a talk in sacrament meeting. It was on John 14:15 if ye love me keep my commandments. It was super good. Sacrament is too short now Haha I didn't think I would have that problem but time ran out quick.  Then yesterday after church while we were at the apartment some people from a Baptist church knocked on our door inviting us to their church. The shoe was on the other foot for once. So we talked to them for a bit and told them the truth but they didn't want to listen. One crazy thing they told us was that when Jesus was dead for 3 days that he went to hell. We were like nope Haha then proved them wrong in the scriptures but they were closed off.
