Transferred to Oxnard. January 13th, 2020...

January 13th, 2020

So I got moved on Wednesday morning. I helped with the transfers and coordinating all the moves and stuff. Today we are picking up new missionaires so my p-day will be over at 12:00 hahah Then tomorrow we transfer everyone and have a meeting with all the new missionaries. I am companions with Elder Schoen again which I am pumped for. He is one of my favorites.
My week has been good. Your right I did move to Oxnard and will be serving here for the next while. And yes, the office is here, and I'll just say that I will be spending a lot more time there and with President Nakken.

My week has been good. Like you said it's all sorts of busy haha but so good. I am so happy to get to learn and grow even more as an Assistant to the President. For the most part we try and do as much normal missionary work as we can. But we have a lot of computer stuff to do now as well as getting information and report stuff. We will also have 8 exchanges in these next 3 weeks. Then we have a week of zone conferences. Then the last week will be transfer planning. Then hit the repeat button. So a lot of stuff on my plate for the next while. Oxnard is a super awesome place with a lot of very humble people so on top of other responsibilities we are finding and teaching a lot of people too

Question: Were you in a threesome for your transition to the office?
Answer: Yes I was. So the old AP when home last week so I went in with him and Elder Schoen in the middle of the last week of the transfer and got started. So we had about 5 days in a trio. Then he went home and me and Elder Schoen got to work.

Question: What kind of car are you driving?  Is it the biggest, fastest, nicest car in the mission?
Answer: We are driving a 2020 Toyota tundra. And yes, it is the biggest, fastest, nicest car in the mission. Just one of the perks hahah .

Question: What surprises you the most about being an assistant?
Answer: Probably how tired I always am. I was telling Elder Schoen the other day that I even wake up tired. He said it gets normal and goes away after about a week. It hasn't been as bad the past couple days even so I'm past it now. But probably how tired I get surprised me the most.

Question: What have you liked most about it?
Answer:  One thing I have really liked about it is how much I get to see and be with President Nakken. It is so fun to constantly be talking with him and helping him out. I haven't really disliked anything yet so I will keep you updated on that one.

Question: What was the funnest thing you did this week?
Answer: The funnest thing was probably just eating out. We went out to eat somewhere every day which was fun. Other then that nothing really stands out.
