Staying isolated in Cali, and my new companion......

We are on self-isolation too so all of our lessons and contacting is done through technology. We don’t interact with anyone, even members. It is so hard but we are making it work  We are still getting some missionary work done. Chanel is getting baptized in a couple weeks so we are working a lot with her. We do have to deal with a lot of the changes though.  Funny story: We had a few extra cars from missionaries going home so we were gonna give them to elders who were on bikes. So one day we got the mission 10 passenger van and drove to the elders apartment and picked them up. We didn’t tell them before though. But we still knocked on the door and the guy answered really quickly. He came out and was like "yo I have a pit bull" and stood in between us and it. He wasn't interested so we left and right when we closed the gate the dog went nuts. Barking and jumping and looked like it wanted to kill us. The Lord definitely protected us on that one.  I'll give you another story about a lady we found named Chanel. She is a single mom whose granddaughter lives with...
