Staying isolated in Cali, and my new companion......

We are on self-isolation too so all of our lessons and contacting is done through technology. We don’t interact with anyone, even members. It is so hard but we are making it work

We are still getting some missionary work done. Chanel is getting baptized in a couple weeks so we are working a lot with her. We do have to deal with a lot of the changes though.

Funny story: We had a few extra cars from missionaries going home so we were gonna give them to elders who were on bikes. So one day we got the mission 10 passenger van and drove to the elders apartment and picked them up. We didn’t tell them before though. We just showed up and barged in their door and told them they were coming with us. We picked up 3 different companionships and they were all so confused. So after we had them all in we drove to the mission office and when we got there we were like "elders is there something you want to tell us?" And a few of them got bright red then we started laughing and pulled out the car keys and were like it's your lucky day! They were so happy at the end. It was pretty fun. 😊

I don’t know how long Cali will be on isolation for. When they announced it they said until further notice so it's up in the air as far as I know. I am doing good though. My new companion came in this week. His name is Elder Rawlings. He will be in a trio companionship with me and Elder Schoen until Elder Schoen goes home next week. He is a good elder and I am excited for 6 weeks with him.

I am safe and healthy so don’t worry about me.
