Elder Laine Carter in the California Ventura Mission

October 21 st ,  2019 "So with transfers I am staying and elder Berry is leaving. I will be getting another companion named elder Turley. Elder Berry was companions with him a little while ago and really loved him. So I am excited to be with him." Question: Do you get to spend time with the youth in the ward?  Elder Carter’s answer: "We do get to spend quite a bit of time with the youth and at ward events. Then we have a pretty big focus on visiting members so we get to spend at least an hour with members every day too. I agree with you, activities are the best ." John was baptized on September 21st in Moorpark, CA September 23 rd , 2019 We had a very busy week last week. It started out on Monday with an MLC with Elder Robbins. So all the mission leaders got together and he gave us council and direction so it was super good. Then Tuesday was P-day and we were so busy doing an activity with our district, shopping, doing laundry, and running around. It was a fun day though. Then on Wednesday we had our zone conference that Elder Robbins lead for us which was super good again. It's always so much fun to get to hear from an apostle. Then after that the week just kept on going with teaching and finding and helping other missionaries out. It's been a very busy last two weeks but it's been fun!  Elder Berry is from Dallas, Texas, and is a super good artist. He is also way easy to get along with and our personalities get together good.
