Elder Laine Carter in the California Ventura Mission

February 10 th , 2020 My week was good and busy. We did have a meeting but not zone conference yet. It was an MLC (mission leadership council) so all of the leaders in the mission get together to learn. We planned it at the start of the week then had it and it went good. I also had more exchanges so I went with different missionaires for a day. Then the last few days we have been planning for zone conference. It should be good!  Then also pray for Isaac Cruz and his family. Isaac is a 10-year-old and his parents are returning members. Isaac is not baptized yet so we are working with him.  Question: Funnest thing you did this week Answer: One day for companionship study we drove out next to the beach and did our studies out there. January 27 th , 2020 My week was super good! We didn’t spend too much time in the truck this week actually. We had 3 exchanges so I went with 3 different missionaires on different days. We still have 5 more in the next 2 weeks as well. So we are working a ton! We also have lots of people to teach here so we are constantly in lessons which is super awesome. The baptism got moved to Sunday but it was still so good!!! I'll send pictures from it later today. It was so fun to get to go back to my old area and see some of the members and especially Bella and her family. I connected with them a lot so it was fun to see them all. January 13 th , 2020 So I got moved on Wednesday morning. I helped with the transfers and coordinating all the moves and stuff. Today we are picking up new missionaires so my p-day will be over at 12:00 hahah Then tomorrow we transfer everyone and have a meeting with all the new missionaries. I am companions with Elder Schoen again which I am pumped for. He is one of my favorites. My week has been good. Your right I did move to Oxnard and will be serving here for the next while. And yes, the office is here, and I'll just say that I will be spending a lot more time there and with President Nakken.
